What Is CrossFit

CrossFit by definition is “Constantly Varied Functional Movements performed at High Intensity”. It is a program where ANYONE from an elite athlete to a couch potato to a grandma can reach their peak potential in health and fitness. CrossFit is a fun and effective way to reach any fitness health goals whether it is for job performance, sports specific, quality of life, anything & everything. Every workout we do can be performed by anyone because the fitness needs of an elite athlete to our grandparents differ by degree not by kind, we do movements that everyone can do but the load & intensity will be modified for people at different skill levels.

World Class Fitness In 100 Words Or Less!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, paralettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

-Constantly Varied: You will not get bored, our workouts are different every day and rarely repeated (only to show improvement in performance). This helps us achieve our peak fitness/health goals, preparing for the unknown, training every body part and fitness domain such as Cardiovascular, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

-Short Workouts: Intensity is key to achieving our fitness/health goals. Based on Scientific Research High Intensity workouts burn more fat and develop more strength and conditioning.  CrossFit workouts will last typically under 20 minutes.

-Measurable Results: You will be able to record your individual improvements in your workouts, body, and increase performance in any sport you compete in, even if it’s the sport of life.
